The asset is located in the 5th arrondissement of Marseille opposite the university hospital centre (CHU) of La Timone, the Institut Hospitalier Universitaire Méditerranée Infection (IHU) and close to the faculties of medicine, pharmacy and the Centre de Formation de la Bourse du Travail (CFBT). Line 1 of the metro is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the building, providing access to the centre of Marseille in 10 minutes. The part dedicated to student accommodation has various common areas and services (gym, study room, cafeteria).
This investment transaction notably consisted of the signature of a new 10-year commercial lease for the student residence with one of the French leaders in the sector. The building’s office and commercial space was the subject of a sale and lease-back transaction with the former owner, who set up his regional office.
The building also has the Promotelec Performance label at the Very High Energy Performance Renewable Energy level (THPE EnR 2005) and is equipped with solar panels that contribute to the production of electricity for the building.
